You've Got This

You've Got This - a new stamp set available June 2nd.
I stamped mine in Baja Breeze (a retired beloved color),
but I think this stamp lends itself to any soft color.
I got the idea of using thin strips of card stock for added
dimension from Lyssa Zwolanek.

Congratulations Tom!

The stamp set Bravo has this wonderful Congratulations
sentiment included in it.  I made this card for a young
man who recently completed his long journey
to become a lay pastor.

I stamped the saying with Versa Mark, then embossed it
with Silver Embossing Powder.  It is framed by Smoky Slate
cardstock.  I layered a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper on the
right side of the inside to make the punched out stars "shine".

Play Ball!

Using the Hexagon Punch, I punched 7 black and 6 white.
Starting in the middle of a green piece of cardstock, I placed the
black hexagon.  Then added the white ones around it, then the black.
I used Tombo liquid glue to adhere them down, and that way
I could "wiggle" them a bit to make the spaces between them even.
After letting it dry I ran it through the Big Shot using the Circle
Thinlits.  I know who will get "a kick" out of this card!
Have a nice holiday weekend everyone.

Zoo Babies

Cased this layout from Mary Fish, but changed the
stamp and sentiment for my nephew who just qualified to run track at State.
The Starburst Framelits Die are on the retirement
list, but alas, have already been sold out. The inside greeting
appropriately asks: Is there no limit to your awesomeness? The Zoo Babies
Stamp Set is so fun and versatile - and not just for babies!

Berry Basket Die-Awesome

These little beauties were made with the Berry Basket Bigz L Die
found on Page 21 of the Occasions Catalog.  I cased these from
Cindee Wilkinson's blog.  I purchased single pot flowers at Lowe's and
inserted them into the berry baskets.  These were door prizes at my recent
RAK Card Class.  I forgot to take a picture with the flowers in the
baskets!  dah!

Just For You

Loll Thompson's shopping bag idea.
I embossed black card stock with gold embossing powder.  Then
I cut them into 2 1/2 inch squares.  I scored on three sides at
1/4 inch and 3/8 inch and folded to make the bag.  I stamped
white tissue paper with gold ink using the same stamp and
stuffed the tissue into the bag.  A little gold cord for the handle made it complete.
The inside sentiment says:  Treat yourself like your own best company.
You could any flourish stamp to create the design.
Stamps:  Creative Elements (retired Stampin' Up)

With Sympathy

Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set
One of the choices at my recent RAK Card Class.
Soft Suede and Very Vanilla Card Stock.
We stamped the flowers in Gold Ink, then
used Heat and Stick Powder with Dazzling Diamonds
Glitter sprinkled over them.
