Cut both end rectangles off the 1/2 inch piece. Angle edges of remaining piece.
Cut the "bump" line off on the two lines on each long side (these are the tabs)
Use glue or Tear and Tape as follows;
On the OUTSIDE of small tabs closest to the long piece - fold tabs to the inside of the tall long piece.
On the INSIDE of the two remaining larger tabs - fold those to the outside of the box - this makes for nice finished corners on the front .On the INSIDE of the 1/2 inch piece - fold to the inside and press to make a finished edge on top of box.
Angle cut off w/scissors from outside corner of box to top on both sides. Decorate. Shop at my online store HERE
At our team meeting last night, I divided the girls into two groups which was indicated on their name tags: The Squirrels and The Bunnys (from Fable Friends) to play the game: I MAY HAVE. Of course, prizes were given to all...not just the team with the most points. I made these Dog Houses (thank you Erica Cerwin for the directions) with a bolt of white Baker's Twine inside. It was a fun time! I made Rice Krispy treats in the shape of dog bones for take home favors. Here's the game we played.
