Happy Birthday Diana

I made this card for my friend, Diana!  The flower was
made using the crystal stained glass window technique which I
learned from Deb Valder.  The flower is stamped on a window sheet and cropped out.
It really sparkles IRL.  The stamp set was the first one I purchased
when the new catalog came out!

Mini Treat Bag

I love these bright colors together.  I covered the clothespin with
Washi Tape, attached the tiny gold foil star punched out from the
Itty Bitty Punch Pack and attached it with a Glue Dot.
The sentiment is from Cottage Greetings Stamp Set #139962.

Snapple and Cookie Stampin' Up! Project

This project tag covers a Snapple (you could any type of drink bottle) and a cooky - in the little fold pocket at the bottom of the second picture. I used Cucumber Crush card stock and DSP. The
banners are 2x4 and 1 1/2 x 5.
The project has two pieces:
3 3/4 x 8 -  Score with long piece across top at 3 and 3 1/2.  Turn and score on the other end at 1/2.
This becomes the TOP and BACK of the cooky tag.
3 3/4 x 5 1/2 - Score 1/2 inch across each short end.  This becomes the FRONT of the tag.

Fold on the score lines. Adhere the DSP  (3 3/4 x 3 1/2) to the short end of long piece.  Punch a 1 3/4 inch circle on the short end of the long piece for the neck of the bottle.  You may want to adjust the size of the circle depending what type of bottle you use. Round the corners.
I used the cut out circle to put on top of the lid.
Use score tape on the bottom short piece and adhere to the long piece. Place the cooky in a cello
bag and staple shut.  Staple cooky bag inside, then adhere the front of the piece with score tape.
Decorate as desired.  Please email me with questions: www.jimnmarge428@verizon.net

What to give as favors for a Sympathy Card Class????

I always like to give the stampers who attend my classes a small take home favor.  What to give was a bit of a challenge for me, until the light bulb went off in my head.  How about a purse size package of tissues....all decorated up!!!  So here is a picture of 2 of the ones I made using the retired Regals Designer Paper Packs.

The dimensions for the dsp are as follows:

DSP: Cut to 5 1/16 x 6 3/4
Score on the long side at 2, 3, 5, and 6
Score on the short side at 1 inch
Fold on all the score lines.
Snip the 4 score lines on the 1" length piece and cut off the little tab.
These will get folded in for the bottom of the box.
I used the 3/4" Circle Punch to punch out a half circle at the top.
The Endless Wishes Stamp Set was my go-to set to decorate these and
some Baker's Twine from the local craft store.
Just a note: The tissues can be purchased at The Dollar Tree
and they come in 8 per package...just be sure that the tissues
open from the TOP as many I found open from the side!

Sympathy Card Class

We made this sympathy card using the new
Wild About Flowers stamp set.  We used the thistle
stamp and lightly dusted them with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
The card is Smoky Slate cut at 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 and
again at 2 3/4.
There is room to the left of the stamp to write your
condolences and sign your name.  The Designer Series
Paper on the front panel is Basic Gray from the Neutrals Collection.
Sorry..the Stampin' Up! sentiment has been retired.
